Spreading the message of FIRST and inspiring the next generation of innovators.
Held by the SC Gov. School for Science and Math with six other FTC teams. We mentored rookie teams on robotics design principles, gave mechanical advice, and helped Team 772 (Golden Dragons) tune their auto for Worlds. Our goal is to bridge the gap between NC and SC teams.
A series of student-led classes on CAD, 3D Printing, Programming, and Business. Over 20 students attended 5 sessions, engaging in hands-on activities like drivetrain design and path optimization. The final project involved designing a swerve drive in CAD and writing code to operate it.
All our code is public on GitHub, and our CAD is on OnShape. We also developed a strategy web app used by over 1,460 visitors, generating 25k+ strategies. We believe in sharing knowledge to elevate the entire community.
We actively collaborate with other teams to improve performance across the board. By organizing joint practice sessions and sharing technical insights, we help elevate the level of competition. Our goal is to foster a community where knowledge is shared freely, helping every team reach their full potential.
